How our food system is killing us
Unprecedented obesity and chronic diseases are largely our own creation
60% of our population has a chronic disease, and for the first time in our history, life expectancy has actually decreased. What happened? If I were to sum it up in a nutshell, I would say that humans have not changed, but everything else around us has and we are ill-equipped to handle the change.
